"Hot dog anybody?"

It's another Monday. It was cloudy this morning, just the type of weather that makes you want to go back to bed when you wake up. Yesterday was fun celebrating Andre's birthday and the boys are well over their short sugar high... so, back to the usual routine today.

Last night was a rough one... I woke up to Taylor licking/chewing his incision. It's healing great and he went almost all weekend cone free - I don't know why he started in the middle of the night? But, the cone came back on, I gave him a pain pill and we went back to bed. I didn't get much sleep and we both wanted to sleep more this morning, but no luck! There are things that need to get done today and we have places we need to be.

On Wednesday, we are going to get stitches out! I think this will help with the licking as the stitches in healthy healing areas of the incisions seem to be irritating him the most.

The good news in it all keeps coming... Taylor is doing and looking better than he has in a long time! He even found some toys this weekend and was playing with his brother. Its been three weeks since the second surgery... if our little spot continues to heal well, a walk isn't too far away in our future.
