A Couple More Accomplishments

On lookout for all of the kids headed to
school in the morning! The perfect view is
from our guest bed upstairs. :)
We are at at the four week mark for our second tumor surgery and achieving many things!
  • Yesterday, Taylor went his first full day in the kennel without the cone.
  • Tonight, he will take his last clavamox for his latest infection.
This will officially make him cone free and pill free - this will be a first in a long time!

The incision is scabbing up... I never thought I would be so excited for a scab but it's looking great! Taylor hardly notices it anymore. Lately he is preferring to run around the house with Andre and trying to play tug-of-war with toys.

Taylor is starting to look a bit furry as we did skip his last grooming appointment to allow more time for healing. Although I love the furry look, I know with the end of summer heat it will get to him after a while. Thankfully today is a bit cloudy so the house will stay nice and cool for the boys - at least for a day.

Let the fun begin!
