Five Days Post Re-Stitching - Three Cheers!

King of the Pillows & King of the Blankets
They tie as Kings of the Mess - do you see all of the toys!
It has officially been five days since our post re-stitching! Although the incision did open a bit this weekend - so far it appears to only be the first layer and the stitches are still holding (not the second layer - this is where we had issues last week). We are happy so far, Wednesday will be a big day. One week after the re-stitching - this will be a big deal!

Taylor is getting three "relaxation" pills a day just trying to keep his stitches from breaking. So far, they are helping and he is staying sleepy. It's kinda cute, I was thinking yesterday, someday I'll miss these quiet weekend afternoons.

I have started to make a list of things we are going to do when Taylor can be active again:
  1. take a walk (lots of walks!)
  2. go play in the water feature (we will finally be able to get wet again!)
  3. RUN through the soccer fields
  4. play tug of war
  5. sleep without a cone - IN the kennel (most important!)
If I haven't mentioned lately, Andre's 9th birthday is this upcoming Sunday! Birthdays are always big celebrations at our house... better get calling the Buttercream Cupcakery and place our order. Cupcakes for all! :)
