Taylor's incision is finally showing more significant improvement. It still has a long way to go, but we're getting closer. The small opening (about 1 inch) that formed over the weekend is looking good, scar tissue is starting to build... the other 3½ inches is healing so pretty I get you hardly will be able to see the scar there!
If all goes well, most of the stitches will be removed next Wednesday by Dr. Burns. We are even crossing our fingers that by this weekend Taylor can sleep without his cone and in his beloved kennel. He won't be ready yet for the Canine Cancer Walk in Estes Park next weekend so it's a good thing we signed him up as a Sit and Stay participant. It's a good cause and we wanted to support the effort. I loved the idea of being able to still support from home.
Well, time to get something done with the day (and order our cupcakes for Andre's birthday this weekend). Before I sign out... a peek at what Hakuna Matata looked like at my house this morning! I wish I could have slept in with them. :)
