If It's Gone... Why Do I Sill Have My Cone?

Let's Celebrate!
(Even if I have to wear this cone)
Cheers, we got clear margins... at least for now the cancer cells are gone!

We heard from Dr. Clara this afternoon with great news... the surgery was a success and the final pathology report is in - clear margins! This is incredibally great news!!

It's like Taylor could understand, he started jumping around and barking in celebration. We had to remind him he was still healing and needed to relax. I can understand though, we are all celebrating!!

Our journey is not done... we received instructions to visit our vet:
  1. every month for the the next three months
  2. every three months after until one year
  3. every six months after one year
I'm off to eat a celebratory dinner and we will all be resting better tonight. We owe a HUGE thank you to:
  • Andre - for showing him strength when dealt a bad hand
  • Dr. Clara and the CSU Cancer Center
  • Dr. Burns and South Mesa
  • Our friends and family
  • And you - for reading my rambles!
Thank you, for all that has been done for us over the last couple months - every prayer and happy thought - we wouldn't be at this point... and can't go forward without it all. Don't forget, it's still a journey and I'll be documenting it all!

Tonight I am grateful for our healthy family and the wonderful people that support us!
