On the home front, Taylor is loving life without his stitches! It's amazing how much of a difference it has made. It's so nice to pet him without getting poked by them... I've never had stitches but Jim keeps reminding me they aren't comfortable. Taylor definitely is more comfortable in his own skin without the stitches going through it. He slept a good part of yesterday - it takes a lot out of you to go to the vet! :) Last night, he was attacking every toy he could find and wanting to play tug of war (and sometimes Andre too!). It's so nice having him get back to normal - even when he does decide to bark with all of the neighbor dogs at the kids headed to school in the morning!
His incision looks pretty good... we are washing it with warm water (no soap) once a day to try to help the antibiotics with the infection battle. Hopefully, it will leave soon and the opening will scab over. It would be nice.
It's been a nice day off with my boys, for once we haven't had appointments to get to or lots of pills to take at certain times (just couple). Just a day of rest and relaxation! :)
