Our pack is growing this spring and we are excited to add some estrogen to the family. This weekend, we celebrated our upcoming arrival and for those that were not able to join the fun - and even those that want to see it all again - enjoy the photos below.
My sister considered both my love for dogs and my childhood dream of being a ballerina when putting together this amazing event. As a result, I had the best
tutus and tails themed shower a girl could ask for.
To begin, guests were greeted by amazing decorations including many feet of homemade bunting, homemade pinwheels,
tulle poms and
art that will be used to decorate the nursery. Guests were asked to fill out their addresses for thank you notes (to help out the new mom) and
leave their fingerprint on 'Spot the dog' - art to be added to the baby's room.

We had amazing food from
Babette's Catering including: macarons, fresh fruit, a variety of cheeses, a Cesar salad and savory focaccia sandwiches.

| Delish! |
We had a stunning dessert bar full of cannolis, pizzelles, fruit tarts and dog shortbread cookies. Lemonade, cream soda and water offered a refreshing break from the sweets. Did you see those adorable
pink paper straws?!

| Sweet! |
The dessert bar was also decorated with a shoe tower (including
ballet slippers, baby Toms, baby Uggs and baby Havaianas - she's going to have a better collection than me),
custom piggy bank,
monogram and
watercolor art, a pink Snoopy,
brass Himmeli mobiles,
paper flowers, homemade pinwheels and a extra soft princess crown.

As guests entered the main room, they were greeted by a beautiful
homemade ballerina puppy (thanks mom!) and more
nursery art. Throughout the event, guests were asked to
leave a special message for our growing family on beautiful hand cut paper dogs and then place the message in the dog park.

Each table was covered in fun elements including
paper flowers, eos tutu lip balm (
thank you tags from Etsy), more homemade pinwheels and silver tulle.

A colorful clothesline full of baby clothes hung in the room
from cute chevron and polka dot clothespins! Look at that pink tutu and dog hat!

Guests even played a game as gifts were opened - winners received a
scratch cards. Four lucky guests left as grand-prize winners!
At the end, everybody had a great time and we are one step closer to being ready for our little girl to come into this world. Thank you to all of our friends and family for making this day so special for our growing family!
